According to Du Jun, ABCDE Capital co-founder, the firm invested $500,000 in Metagent in February 2024, with a planned $1 million follow-up investment conditional on project performance. Du Jun stated that Metagent's demo presented in June 2024 fell short of expectations, raising concerns about the project's execution capability based on development progress, communication, and feedback from other investors.

Starting July 2024, Metagent founder Li Bojie ceased responding to investor inquiries, and in December 2024 informed via email that he had left the company due to insufficient funds. However, the team has not provided complete financial statements or operational information to investors.
