edgeX Completes Compensation Distribution for June 2 Incident, Users Receive up to $100,000

According to Odaily, decentralized derivatives exchange edgeX has completed compensation distribution for users affected by the June 2 incident. Users who experienced realized losses from liquidation or stop-loss triggers on EDGE long positions on edgeX Perp V1 or V2 between 4:50 and 6:00 on June 2 are eligible. Each qualified user can receive up to 100,000 USDC equivalent in compensation.

The payout is split into two parts: 50% in USDC is now available for withdrawal, while the remaining 50% in EDGE tokens will be distributed in the first week of April 2027, calculated at the 7-day TWAP at distribution time. The application window remains open until June 9 at 14:00 UTC; users who miss this deadline will forfeit their compensation eligibility.
