EIA Raises 2027 U.S. Oil Demand Forecast to 20.8M Barrels Per Day, Up from Prior 20.7M

According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration's short-term energy outlook, U.S. crude oil demand is projected at 20.7 million barrels per day (bpd) in 2026, unchanged from the prior forecast. For 2027, the EIA raised its demand estimate to 20.8 million bpd, up from the previously forecasted 20.7 million bpd.
