On-chain records show that Garrett Jin previously included actions such as shorting Bitcoin worth about $735 million before the major Bitcoin drop in October 2025. Notably, on-chain data cannot confirm the specific intent behind this transfer; spot sales, hedging, or portfolio rebalancing are all possible reasons, and the on-chain records cannot distinguish among them.
According to publicly available on-chain data, on May 8, 2026, ETHA under BlackRock sent 11,475 ETH to Coinbase Prime (about $26.27 million). FETH under Fidelity then, within roughly the next hour, sent 23,919 ETH to Coinbase Prime (about $54.44 million). Together, the two sent 35,394 ETH (about $80.7 million).
