EU Aviation Safety Agency Adds Jordan to No-Fly Warning List Amid Iran Strikes on July 22

According to the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), the authority added Jordan to its no-fly warning list on Wednesday, July 22, citing Iranian attacks on the U.S.-aligned Gulf state and escalating tensions in the Middle East. The agency previously strengthened warnings for airlines operating in the region, requiring them to avoid airspace over Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and the Gulf of Oman amid renewed U.S.-Iran tensions. EASA extended the advisory validity period for Middle Eastern nations from July 29 through August 31, with the new warning for Jordan effective through the same date.
