EU Launches 90 Billion Euro Ukraine Aid Lending Program, First Tranche of 9.1 Billion Euros

According to EU Commission spokesperson Boula Riah Ouivari on June 8, the European Union announced the launch of a 90 billion euro aid lending program for Ukraine, with 9.1 billion euros disbursed in the first tranche.

Of the initial disbursement, 5.9 billion euros will be allocated for military purposes and 3.2 billion euros for the state budget. Technical details are being finalized, with the first tranche expected to be disbursed by end of June.
