Federal Reserve Likely to Hold Rates Steady in June With 96.8% Probability, CME FedWatch Shows

According to Jin10 citing CME FedWatch, on May 15, the Federal Reserve has a 96.8% probability of maintaining interest rates unchanged through June, with a 3.2% chance of a 25 basis point rate cut.

For July, the likelihood of holding rates steady stands at 93.8%, while probabilities of a 25 basis point cut and a 25 basis point hike each stand at 3.1%.
