According to CCTV News, at least a dozen people were injured after a fire broke out at a petrochemical facility in Haldia, West Bengal, India in the early morning hours on June 30. The fire, which occurred between 4 and 5 a.m. local time, engulfed a naphtha pipeline at the facility operated by Haldia Petrochemicals. Several injured individuals were reported in critical condition and have been hospitalized. The company stated the incident may be linked to naphtha theft activities, with investigations ongoing.
