Google's Gemini 3.6 Flash Scores 50, Falls Out of Top 10 AI Models

According to Artificial Analysis, Google released Gemini 3.6 Flash on July 22, but the model scored 50 on the combined AI Intelligence Index, falling out of the top 10 (minimum 51 points). The model reduced average task time from 2.7 minutes to 1.3 minutes and single-item cost from $0.59 to $0.50. On the GDPval-AA v2 benchmark simulating real knowledge work, Gemini 3.6 Flash's Elo rating improved from 1349 to 1421, but this gain did not translate to an increase in the overall intelligence score.
