According to Jin10 data, on May 15, India raised gasoline and diesel prices by approximately 3 rupees per liter (about $0.03), marking the country’s first fuel price increase in four years amid global oil price surges. Retail diesel in Delhi reached 90.67 rupees per liter, while gasoline reached 97.77 rupees per liter. The move follows global crude oil prices climbing above $120 per barrel due to conflict-related disruptions near the Strait of Hormuz, before retreating to the $100–$105 range.
