Iran Requires All Hormuz Strait Traffic to Obtain Iranian Permission on May 3

According to Iran's parliamentary Civil Commission chairman, all traffic through the Hormuz Strait must obtain Iranian permission under parliament's management plan announced on May 3. Israeli-flagged vessels are prohibited from passage under any circumstances, and nations at war with Iran cannot transit the strait until compensating Iran for damages.
