Iranian Ambassador Says Agreement Possible if U.S. Acts Rationally on Saturday

According to Iran's Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), on Saturday, Iranian Ambassador to Armenia Khalil Shehrami said that agreement is possible if countries imposing illegal aggression on Iran return to rational, logic-based policies. Speaking to Armenian television, Shehrami emphasized that Iran is willing to reach an agreement through negotiation but requires clear guarantees that the U.S. will not launch military aggression. He stressed that Iran opposes selective interpretation of international law and will not allow the Iranian nation to be deprived of the right to peaceful use of nuclear energy.
