According to Russia’s state nuclear agency, Iran’s Bushehr nuclear power plant Unit 2 resumed construction work on May 16, with concrete pouring and steel reinforcement operations restarted. The official noted that a decision on returning all Russian personnel to the site has not yet been made. Iran’s government stated the reactor sustained no damage during recent military operations in the region.
