Iran's Kharg Island Resumes Oil Loading Operations, Two Tankers Conduct Simultaneous Cargo Work June 2-4

According to Vortex, a UK-based maritime analysis company, Iran's key crude oil export hub Kharg Island has resumed loading operations. Satellite imagery captured on June 2 showed an ultra-large crude carrier moored near the western sea terminal for the first time since the facility halted operations in early May due to a suspected oil spill. On June 3, an ultra-large crude carrier at the western berth and a Panamax-type tanker at the eastern T-shaped dock simultaneously conducted loading operations. By June 4, the ultra-large crude carrier had completed loading and departed; the Panamax vessel remained berthed.
