Israel Established Multiple Military Outposts in Azerbaijan Weeks Before February Strike on Iran, CNN Reports

According to CNN on June 5, Israel secretly established multiple military outposts in Azerbaijan, a neighboring country to Iran, weeks before launching strikes on Iran on February 28. The outposts, located over 90 kilometers from Iran's northern city of Tabriz, hosted dozens of Israeli personnel including special forces, helicopter units, and intelligence officers.

The personnel were tasked with gathering military intelligence on Iran, rescuing downed pilots, and providing early warning for missile strikes, according to sources cited by CNN.
