U.S. Forces Intercept Iranian Missiles and Drones on June 4; Six of Seven Ballistic Missiles Blocked

According to U.S. Central Command, on June 4, U.S. forces intercepted multiple Iranian ballistic missiles and drones launched toward the Strait of Hormuz and neighboring regions. U.S. military also shot down four Iranian one-way attack drones and struck Iranian coastal radar stations on Qeshm Island and near Goruk. The command assessed that six of seven Iranian ballistic missiles were intercepted, with one failing to reach its intended target. No U.S. personnel casualties have been reported. U.S. Central Command denied Iranian claims that their forces struck and damaged the U.S. Fifth Fleet headquarters in Bahrain.
