Israeli Finance Minister Urges Shift Focus to Lebanon Over Iran Response on June 8

According to Israel's N12 channel, on June 8, Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich urged the security cabinet to shift Israel's response focus to Lebanon rather than Iran. Smotrich suggested that for each missile Iran launches, Israel should destroy dozens of buildings in Beirut's Dahiyeh district. He argued this approach would be easier and more effective, pressuring Hezbollah to stop Iranian actions while preserving Israel's capacity for larger-scale strikes against Iran.
