LG AI Research Institute Launches Service Analyzing 8,000 Companies

According to Lee Hwa-young, executive director at LG AI Research Institute, the institute recently developed a financial AI service that analyzes approximately 8,000 listed companies across the U.S. and South Korea to generate one-month-ahead corporate forecasts with explanatory scores. The system uses multiple AI agents—including an AI economist analyzing macroeconomics, an AI journalist reading news, and an AI analyst reviewing corporate disclosures—that collaborate to produce individual company outlook scores on a 1-100 scale. Coscom and LSEG supply raw data, while Kiwoom Securities serves as the first domestic customer, integrating the forecasts into its mobile trading platform for retail investors.
