According to Beating, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella issued a statement urging enterprises to retain the learning outcomes generated by AI systems rather than inadvertently transferring valuable internal knowledge to model manufacturers. Nadella criticized certain AI companies for learning from public internet data while restricting customers from using model outputs to train their own systems, meanwhile potentially learning from customer usage records. He called on enterprises to maintain control over their own evaluations, memory, execution traces, and fine-tuning weights, and to decouple agent orchestration from any single model provider to ensure accumulated business capabilities remain independent of individual vendors.
