According to PANews citing The Wall Street Journal, Mistral AI announced on May 28 that it is advancing superintelligence research at an accelerated pace to reduce Europe's dependence on U.S. tech giants for AI infrastructure and models.

The French AI company is simultaneously expanding into advanced manufacturing. Mistral has partnered with Airbus and BMW Group to deploy Physical AI in industrial design, simulation, and quality control applications.
