NVIDIA CEO Huang: AI-Assisted Code Completion Reached 1.4B Instances in First Months of 2026, Double 2025's 500M

At GTC Taipei 2026 on June 1, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang revealed that global AI-assisted code completion reached 1.4 billion instances in the first months of 2026, nearly double the 500 million instances recorded in 2025. Huang noted that 30–40 million professional software developers worldwide rely on programming as their primary work, with annual AI coding assistance applications growing from 300 million in 2023 to 400 million in 2024, 500 million in 2025, and surging to 1.4 billion by early 2026.
