Nvidia CEO Huang Says Global Semiconductor Industry Needs 10x Expansion Over Next Decade

According to BlockBeats, citing a Bloomberg podcast interview on July 26, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang stated that South Korea is in a "golden age" and its semiconductor capabilities will help build global AI infrastructure. Nvidia and SK Group have reached multiple partnerships with combined future business scope exceeding $500 billion, spanning storage procurement, AI supercomputers, and data center construction.

Huang predicted that over the next 10 years, the global semiconductor industry scale may need to expand 10-fold as AI agents and robots drive chip demand beyond human users alone. He noted that memory storage like HBM, land, power, and data center resources are currently strained, with the industry capable of doubling supply annually but facing constraints from infrastructure limitations rather than manufacturing capacity.
