Nvidia, KAIST Invest $300M in AI Research Center for Korean-Language Models on July 24

According to Chosun Daily, on July 24, KAIST and Nvidia announced the establishment of the Nvidia-KAIST AI Joint Research Center at KAIST's Kim Jaechul Graduate School of AI with $300 million in investment and $50 million worth of AI computing resources each year. The center will focus on developing Korean-language AI systems and industry-specific models tailored to South Korean industries over an initial five-year period.
