According to Beating monitor, OpenAI will discontinue its independent browser Atlas on August 9, less than a year after the product's debut.

Atlas's core features are being merged into ChatGPT and Codex. The updated ChatGPT desktop application now includes browser capabilities such as opening multiple tabs, downloading files, logging into websites, and allowing agents to directly interact with web pages. Users can also access ChatGPT through a Chrome extension.
