OpenClaw v2026.5.22 Cuts Model List Latency to 5ms from 20 Seconds, Adds Discord Voice Meeting Notes

According to Beating's monitoring, the open-source AI assistant project OpenClaw released version v2026.5.22 on May 22, with major updates to gateway performance and plugin support. The new version reduced model list API response latency from approximately 20 seconds to 5 milliseconds by pre-warming service provider authentication states at gateway startup, achieving a roughly 4,100-fold performance improvement.

The release introduces a standalone Discord voice channel meeting notes plugin, allowing users to access recordings or manually import them as text. The update also redesigned sub-agent startup contexts for security, now transmitting only AGENTS.md and TOOLS.md to delegated sub-agents while isolating personal settings, user memory, and identity key files.
