According to Bloomberg, OpenAI has partnered with San Francisco fintech Plaid to provide personalized financial guidance within ChatGPT. Users can securely share bank account data with the AI assistant to receive tailored financial insights. The feature is currently read-only, meaning users cannot move money through ChatGPT, and OpenAI clarified that it does not replace professional financial advice. The partnership comes as over 200 million users have already used ChatGPT for budgeting, investment, and other finance-related questions.
