According to Iranian official channels, Pakistan's Chief of Army Staff Munir met with Iranian President Pezeshkian on May 23 in Tehran, a day after his arrival in the Iranian capital. During the visit, Munir also held talks with Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi and other senior officials. The two sides discussed efforts to prevent escalation of regional tensions and addressed initiatives aimed at ending U.S. and Israeli-led conflicts affecting Iran, while exploring solutions to strengthen peace, stability, and security in West Asia.
