According to BlockBeats, on July 20, Palantir CEO Alex Karp predicted that artificial intelligence could potentially multiply his personal wealth approximately 20-fold, bringing his net worth close to $300 billion, while concentrating wealth gains among a small group of technology and capital owners. Karp, currently worth around $15 billion, stated that although AI will improve living standards for ordinary people, middle-class incomes could potentially double within a decade—such as from $70,000 to $140,000 annually—but this pales compared to the multibillion-dollar wealth gains accrued by top AI beneficiaries. "Wealth and ordinary wealth could become completely disconnected," Karp said in an interview with the MDMeets podcast, highlighting AI-driven wealth concentration as a social concern.
