Philippines Cuts Telecom Tower Permits to 16 Days From 241 Days

According to Anti-Red Tape Authority Secretary Ernesto Perez, the Philippine government has reduced the time to secure telecommunications tower permits from 241 days to just 16 days on Tuesday, July 21. The reforms, including Executive Order No. 32 in 2023 and the Konektadong Pinoy Act of 2025, also cut required documents from 86 to 35 and necessary permits from 13 to 8. Perez noted that approved tower applications rose from 6,117 in 2022 to 10,465 in 2025, as streamlined processes enable faster network expansion across the country.
