According to Bitcoin.com, Relay Protocol warned of honeypot token scams appearing on the Robinhood Chain on July 10. The security protocol confirmed multiple user reports where tokens immediately disappeared from wallets after purchase and could not be sold or transferred. These honeypot tokens use smart contract code that allows buying but blocks selling, permanently locking investor funds. The surge in fraudulent tokens correlates with recent explosive growth in user activity and token creation on Robinhood Chain.
