According to The Block, Robinhood Markets completed its $180 million acquisition of Canadian digital asset company WonderFi, which operates the regulated crypto platforms Bitbuy and Coinsquare. WonderFi users will be invited to migrate to the Robinhood app. Through this acquisition, Robinhood's customer base outside the U.S. has exceeded 1 million, with 300,000 from WonderFi. The deal was first announced in May 2025 and was originally slated for the second half of 2025 but was delayed due to technology deployment and regulatory approval processes.
