Saudi Arabia's Red Sea Crude Oil Exports Hit Record 5.9M Barrels Daily Before Houthi Blockade Threat

According to tanker tracking data, Saudi Arabia exported an average of 5.9 million barrels of crude oil daily through Yanbu's two Red Sea terminals in the week ending July 17, marking a record high. In the seven days ending July 20, daily exports declined to 5.5 million barrels.

The Houthis warned ship operators not to dock at Saudi ports, citing their blockade as retaliation for what they described as Saudi Arabia's siege of Yemen's capital, Sana'a.
