Sei Closes IBC Asset Inflows on May 13, Shifts Toward EVM-Only Architecture

According to BlockBeats, Sei Labs officially closed IBC asset inflows on May 13, following a community proposal. The network previously integrated the closure mechanism in the v6.4 upgrade released in April.

Users currently holding IBC assets on Sei are advised to bridge or swap them out promptly, as the network plans to further disable IBC asset outflows as part of its transition to an EVM-only architecture.
