South Korea Launches Postal Bank Agency Pilot at 20 Post Offices Starting July 20

According to South Korea's Financial Services Commission, postal offices nationwide will launch a pilot program on July 20 to provide bank loan consultation and services on behalf of major banks. The service will operate at 20 designated main post offices in population-decline regions, offering personal credit loans and the New Hope Seed Loan program from KB Kookmin Bank, Shinhan Bank, KEB Hana Bank, and Woori Bank. The pilot aims to improve financial accessibility in underserved areas, with loan processing expected to complete in as little as two days.
