South Korea's June Producer Price Index Flat Month-on-Month, Up 8.6% Year-over-Year

According to the Bank of Korea on June 22, South Korea's June Producer Price Index (PPI) remained flat month-on-month and rose 8.6% year-over-year. The month-on-month gains have slowed consecutively from 2.7% in April to 1.0% in May to flat in June. Industrial product prices fell 0.3%, particularly coal and petroleum products which declined 5.3%, while utilities and waste prices rose 1.0%.
