Strategy sold 32 BTC worth $2.5 million between May 26 and May 31 but announced the sale on June 1, according to the firm's Monday statement. The delayed announcement has triggered a dispute on Polymarket's market asking whether Strategy would sell Bitcoin by May 31, which has attracted more than $50 million in trading volume. The market is currently 99.9% in favor of "No" shareholders, with "Yes" shareholders arguing the rule states "Did they sell within the timeframe," not "Is there confirmation they sold within the timeframe." The disputed market will head to a vote by UMA tokenholders for final resolution.
