Tokyo Electric Begins Removing 615 Fuel Assemblies from Fukushima Unit 2 on June 2

According to CCTV International, Tokyo Electric Power Company began removing spent nuclear fuel from the fuel pool of Unit 2 at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Station on June 2. The company plans to transfer all 615 fuel assemblies to a shared spent fuel pool within the station by the end of fiscal year 2028.
