Tokyo Electron Taiwan Won't Appeal T$150 Million TSMC Trade Secrets Ruling

According to Reuters, on May 21, Tokyo Electron Taiwan said it will not appeal a court ruling tied to a TSMC trade secrets case. Taiwan's Intellectual Property and Commercial Court fined the unit T$150 million (approximately US$5 million) in April. In a written statement, Tokyo Electron Taiwan said it respects the judicial process and takes the ruling seriously.
