Trump Administration to Push NATO for Major Reforms, Rubio Says on June 3

According to Jin10, on June 3, U.S. Secretary of State Rubio stated the Trump administration will not leave NATO but will continue pushing the alliance for major reforms and demand allies increase defense spending. Rubio told Congress that Trump plans to attend the NATO leaders' summit scheduled for July 7–8 in Ankara, Turkey, where he will outline the U.S. position on NATO reforms. "The president himself will attend the next NATO leaders meeting, and these views will be clearly presented," Rubio said.
