According to Guru Club, two LPG tankers—Symi and NV Sunshine—successfully transited the Strait of Hormuz on Thursday, May 14, carrying cooking fuel from the Persian Gulf toward India. The Symi disabled its transponder before entering the Gulf of Oman, while the NV Sunshine disappeared from radar immediately after passing through the strait. Since last Sunday, the total number of large tankers, fuel ships, and liquefied natural gas carriers that have successfully crossed the strait has risen to nine, a notable increase from recent weeks despite ongoing U.S. and Iranian restrictions and stalled peace negotiations.
