Ukraine's Umerov to Hold Talks with U.S. on Prisoner Swaps and Peace Negotiations on May 7

According to President Zelenskyy on May 7, Ukraine's chief negotiator Andriy Umerov will hold talks with U.S. officials regarding humanitarian issues and diplomatic efforts to resolve the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Zelenskyy stated that humanitarian concerns would be the primary topic, with Ukraine seeking a new round of prisoner exchanges with Russia. Umerov arrived in Miami, Florida to meet with American representatives and advance diplomatic efforts aimed at achieving a dignified peace with security guarantees.
