U.S. Intelligence Agencies Assess Limited Impact of New Iran Strikes

According to U.S. intelligence reporter John Hudson, U.S. intelligence agencies assessed yesterday (July 21) that new military strikes against Iran would likely have limited impact and fail to soften Tehran's negotiating stance. Current and former officials said the strikes are unlikely to produce significant effects on Iran. Intelligence analysts noted that Tehran and Washington are locked in an indefinite stalemate between war and peace, with increasingly lethal hostile actions between the two countries.
