U.S. Launches Attacks on Southern Iran; Tehran Condemns Action and Strikes Back on June 10

According to Iran's Foreign Ministry statement on June 10, the United States launched attacks on southern Iran, allegedly in response to an Apache helicopter being downed. Iran's Foreign Ministry condemned the strikes as a serious violation of the UN Charter, reiterating that the U.S. military action infringes on Iranian sovereignty and territorial integrity.

In response, Iran's armed forces exercised their right to self-defense by striking U.S. bases and assets in the region, according to the official statement.
