U.S. Nasdaq Information Technology Index Falls 9.01% on Friday, Down 6.06% Weekly

On Friday (June 5), the U.S. Nasdaq Information Technology Index fell 9.01% to close at 410.70, marking its largest single-day decline of the week. The index has accumulated losses of 6.06% this week after holding steady near 455 points on June 1-4, before opening lower following Friday's non-farm payroll report.

Component stocks declined broadly, with Marvell Technology leading losses at 16.74%, followed by Rigetti Computing down 14.40%. D-Wave Quantum, IonQ, and Micron Technology each fell at least 13.25%, while Intel, AMD, and Qualcomm dropped at least 10.18%. Apple slipped 1.25%, representing the fifth-best performer, while RoboTech Company was the sole gainer, up 0.11%.
