U.S. Proposes Temporary Exemption on Iran Oil Sanctions on May 18

According to Iran’s Tasnim News Agency, sources close to negotiations said on May 18 that the U.S. accepted lifting oil sanctions on Iran in its new text and proposed suspending relevant sanctions by the U.S. Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) before reaching a final agreement.
