U.S. Revises March-April Nonfarm Payroll Data Upward by 93,000 Jobs

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, nonfarm payroll data for March and April was revised upward on June 5. March nonfarm employment gains were revised up to 214,000 from the initially reported figure, while April gains were adjusted to 179,000 from 115,000. The combined revision for both months adds 93,000 jobs to the previously reported numbers.
