U.S. Secretary Rubio Says Iran Talks Show Little Progress, Proposes Plan B for Strait

According to Xinhua News Agency, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on May 22 at a NATO Foreign Ministers meeting in Helsingborg, Sweden, that negotiations with Iran have made only "some progress," and a "Plan B" would be needed to restore transit through the Hormuz Strait if the two sides fail to reach an agreement.

Rubio called on European allies to participate in the contingency plan.
