Warren cited concerns over Meta’s lack of transparency regarding its recent cryptocurrency initiatives, particularly referencing the company’s previous Libra project.
Meta reportedly tested USDC-based stablecoin payments with select content creators in the Philippines and Colombia in April, aimed at enabling faster and lower-cost cross-border transfers.
