Why are top-tier individuals often extremely irritable? Because respecting others actually comes with a cost. Respecting someone often means packaging the truth before speaking. The cost of that packaging is usually your own time and mental energy. They have more important things to do. Decisions, risks, directions, results—each one is more critical than making you feel respected. So they won't be patient with everyone. Patience is only reserved for two types of people: one is those with blood ties and close relationships, and the other is those who are on the same level and can bear the consequences. As for others, if you can't influence the outcome and can't bear the responsibility for decisions, what you get is only efficiency, not emotional care.
