Ministry of Public Security's Draft for Public Comments on Cybercrime Prevention Law: Illegal Virtual Currency Transactions Included

Mars Finance reports that the Ministry of Public Security has announced the drafting of the “Cybercrime Prevention and Control Law (Draft for Public Consultation),” which is now open for public feedback. The deadline for feedback is March 2, 2026. The contents include: No individual or organization shall knowingly hide, transfer, acquire, sell on behalf of others, or otherwise conceal or disguise funds, data, or virtual network assets obtained from illegal online activities by others. No individual or organization shall knowingly use virtual currencies or other online virtual assets to provide fund transfer services for others when aware that the funds are derived from illegal activities.
